Bandung Budget for 3days (Bandung Only)
2. Also tak termasuk makan + Minum
Option 1
Jalan2 In Bandung requires - Transportation. Since theres 11 of us. - Hard to manage, and for easier jalan-jalan cari Factory Outlet, with a good local driver, we could actually rent a car/minivan whatever la for 10->11person i think?
I jumpe this (ade je company lain but ni cam cheapest je) pls click the link >. 10 seats (well we're 11 tp sumbat2 la)
Rp. 625.000 for 1 day (maximum 12hrs)
as stated in the website,
The price quoted include car, driver, fuel cost, toll fee, driver's meal but not include parking fee and driver's tips.
- Tariffs are fixed and must be paid on the first day of the rent period.
- Discount available for long tem use of more than 7 days.
- Please make confirmation at least 1 week before the rent period.
- Extend means new contract, and should be confirm to Speed Transport Rental for bus availibility first.
Parking very cheap Rp1000 to Rp2000. Give driver Rp50,000 for his whole day meal, and some tips on the last day. - got from a blog, cant remember
Calculations, if we're gonna choose this transportation from 4th ~ 6th (3days)
Rp 625 000 + ______ (parking fees - uhmm Rp20 000~30 000? a day?) + ____ (drivers tip which i dunno how much ) = _________ ( total) x 3days
Example: Around Rp 180 000ish EACH tak masuk drivers tip =.=.
So Convert Rp180 000 to MYR Here
Basically, Sorang
180,000.00 IDR | = | 64.5243 MYR |
Option 2
Be abit adventurous and jalan-jalan naik angkutan Angkutan in Bandung
Maybe u wanna try another public transportation? try Angkot! it is a lot cheaper than taxi, but less comfy.Option 3
It is a minibus, where they put 15 people in it, and stop every 5 minutes, 'till it reaches the direction.
Pay attention on the colour of the Angkot, coz it's represent a different direction,if it a close distance u can just step out and pay IDR 1.000 or of its from one station to the final stop u can just pay for IDR 3.000, ask the local which angkot u should take to go to ur destination. u may have to switch angkot a couple times.
Try both, 1st day naik angkot , 2nd day naik sewa ketem then the 3rd day make decision. Tapi i rase if nak pegi tempat2 lain in bandung selain Factory Outlet, Like for example Nak Pergi Mount Tangkuban Perahu or Puncak , kene rent car kot?
Option 4
Korang suggest pls :D
As for the place we stay
1. Apartment Setra Murni tu Rp400 000 per night ( 2 bedrooms )
Or
2. Cari hotel2 mane murah x 3rooms ( 11 org agakagak 3 - 4 bilik la kan) if cheaper we can sleep in normal hotel je. contoh if like 1room per night = Rp100 000 x 4 bedroom = Rp 400 000 gak.
But bahagi 3-4-4 or 3-3-3-2 la :X
Btw pls help cari any cheap hotel rates in Jakarta. Heres some of the list of 3star hotel. Tq ;D

Kemang Food Fest @ Jakarta
This is a food court with style. Yes, located at Kemang Raya (A one-way street with the Kemang Food Festival stretched out on the left hand side) with many foods to choose from and a street feel to add to the festive ambience, you name it and you get it! From stalls like Chubby Burger, Raja Bubur (freely translated as Porridge’s King), Oh La La cafĂ©, Opi’s Kebab, Mangkok Putih (noodles), dimsum and other Chinese cuisine to Japanese, meatballs (known as Bakso), traditional chicken or beef satay, a variety of other Indonesian food, and much more. Jakarta youngsters love to hang out at Kemang Food Festival, likely due to its good tasting delights and friendly price.
Since Kemang Food Festival is on the main road you will have to park at the parking space, just right in front of it. Across the street you will see so many food stalls to choose from, you won’t even know where to start. Don’t wait to be seated, just pick one table which is vacant. Then go directly to the vendor you want to order your food from. For example, if you want to try the dimsum, go to the dimsum stall mendor and order the different pieces you want and that’s it. The server will deliver your sizzling dimsums to your table.
On the weekends and especially Saturday night, Kemang Food Festival is extremely packed. It is mostly packed with the trendy young people of Jakarta craving for late night snacks. To quote one of them, “Here, is definitely a place to see and be seen! A great place to hang out and people watch, if you know what I mean…” Well, I definitely do and couldn’t agree more. To understand the life present in Jakarta’s streets, this place will likely be the spot to get a glimpse of it.

Bad News D:
but to be fair, im gonna divide equally okay? Oh and theres also Baggage handling fees RM10 Pergi balek.
Heres the calculations
First Batch :Rm370 (termasuk baggage fees) x 5 = RM1850
Second Batch: Rm400 (also termasuk baggage fees) x6 = FM2400
Total = Rm4250
I only have Rm 3960 (from korang nye duit 360 each) so
Rm4250 - Rm3960 = Rm290
therefore (geez maths maths maths)
Rm290/11 = Rm26.36 - Additional.
Pls bank in Rm26 When ure free. (and sms me)
Sorry guys D:
Dont worry, we're all still on the same plane.

2. Tangkuban Perahu volcano
From Jakarta to Bandung
- Taxi from the airport. You can ride taxi from the airport to Bandung. Current estimate of the cost is around Rp 250.000,- (with US$1 = Rp 10.000,- so that's around US$25). Be sure to get a good taxi. Blue Bird is a reliable name in taxi. Don't use other taxi name if you can.
- Trains. (This is the means that I usually take.) Trains run frequently from Jakarta to Bandung and vice versa. Have a look at its schedule. Jakarta-Bandung route is very popular. If you don't get ticket, you'll going to wait a long time in a line. (More than 1 hours!) Fridays and Weekends it's almost impossible to get a ticket if you don't book ahead of time. The cost of the ticket is Rp 20.000,- to Rp 40.000,- (depending on the class). To get to the train station from the airport, you have two options:
- Taxi. It's around Rp 50.000,- (or Rp 80.000,- if you get a private taxi from inside the airport. It's safe.). Outside the airport you have to haggle. Again, look for Blue Bird taxi. (This is what I take.)
- Bus. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to train station. Look for "Gambir". It costs Rp 5.000,-/person. The bus is relatively safe and ok. You'll just have to wait a little longer (since it has a schedule). If you have plenty of time to catch the train, then bus is an ok choice. Watch your bellongings while you're on the bus. There has not been any problem with this bus. But, it's better to be concious
- Shuttle. There are informal shuttles (they call it "travel") at the Gambir train station. They usually wait outside the train station and wait for people who could not get tickets. The cost is around Rp 20.000,- to Rp 30.000,-/person. This is also ok, if you can stand the way they drive. Even I fell scared with the way they drive. I don't recommend this for the faint of heart.
- Now ... there is an airline ("Deraya") that provides services from Jakarta to Bandung (and back to Jakarta) daily. It's Rp. 285,000 for one way trip. It takes 30 minutes from Jakarta to Bandung
With 7-10 seater minivans leaving every few minutes, the shuttle bus market between Jakarta and Bandung is fiercely competitive. Roughly speaking, services can be categorized as either door to door (chartered car or van that takes your group exactly where you want to go, for c. US$50-75) or point to point (from a terminal to another, for under US$10). Many companies offer both.
A select list of larger transportation companies:
- 4848. Jl Prapatan 34, Jakarta 10410. Tel.: (62)(21) 381 4488, (62)(21) 386 4848. The service is great, reliable and safe. Price: approx. US$ 25/car (4 persons).
- Cipaganti. Probably the biggest name in the business, they serve over a half a dozen points throughout Jakarta and its suburbs from their terminal at the Bandung Trade Center (BTC) on the western side of the city, with shuttles leaving every 20 minutes or so on most routes. Rp. 60,000 for a shared ride, Rp. 700,000 for a point-to-point charter.
- Primajasa, tel. +62-22-6073992 (Bandung), tel. +62-21-8009545 (Jakarta). Direct shuttle service from Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Bandung Super Mall. The trip takes approx. 3 hours and the cost is approx. US$ 6.50/person. Schedule: once every hour from 8 AM to 9 PM.
- Silver Bird Van (Blue Bird Group), Jl. Mampang Prapatan Raya 60, South Jakarta. Tel.: (62)(21) 798 1234. Price: Rp750.000 door to door, plus toll fee Rp40.000.
- X-Trans, Jl. Blora 1 AB, Central Jakarta, Tel.: (62)(21) 315 0555. Price: approx. US$ 55/car 10 persons
